Stony Hill Creek joins metropolitan Melbourne right at its outermost northwest corner. We'll start at Watergardens Railway Station and make our way to the beginning of the creek trail and follow it down to Kororoit Creek Trail and segue over for a circuit of Lake Caroline before lunch there in Caroline Springs. Then we'll ride the other bank of the Kororoit to pick up Tudor Trail on the southern part of Stony Hill Creek and follow a series of ornamental lakes and waterways to Western Freeway Trail. In this direction it's a lovely downward tending run through to Western Ring Road which will takes us to the final part of the ride down Sunshine Trail to Sunshine.
